A convertible makes most sense on a slow drive: Jumeirah Beach Road at sunset, the Palm Jumeirah crescent, or the Dubai Marina waterfront after dinner. The 420i seats four, but with luggage space for a single bag it works best as a car for a couple or two friends. Inside you'll find leather seats, blind-spot warning, parking sensors, built-in navigation and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
TVIP rents it for at least three days, which at AED 350 a day comes to AED 1,050. The week is AED 2,100 (AED 300 a day, AED 350 cheaper than seven day-rates) and the month AED 8,000, about AED 267 a day. Mileage is 200 km per day, 1,400 km per week or 4,500 km per month, with AED 3 for every extra km. Prices exclude 5% VAT.
Delivery and pick-up cost AED 50, or you can collect the car free at the Souq Center office near Deira City Centre, which is open 24/7. The deposit is AED 2,000; a zero-deposit option is also available on request.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 200 km on the daily rate, 1,400 km on the weekly rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 3 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 2,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. To skip the deposit, ask for the zero-deposit option: a one-off fee that is not refunded. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
Shortest rental: 3 days.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
