The M5 Competition is a fast car that doesn't ask anyone to travel light: five seats, four doors and space for four medium bags make it just as right for a family run to Abu Dhabi as for a solo early-morning drive out to Hatta. Inside you get massage seats, memory front seats, a premium audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while blind-spot warning, parking assist and automatic emergency braking look after the city part of the trip.
At AED 1,300 a day (was AED 2,650), seven single days would add up to AED 9,100 – the weekly rate of AED 9,000 comes to about AED 1,286 a day and bundles 2,100 km. A full month is AED 33,000, roughly AED 1,100 a day with 4,500 km included. Every day carries a 300 km allowance; beyond it you pay AED 8 per km. Prices exclude 5% VAT.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 300 km on the daily rate, 2,100 km on the weekly rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 8 per km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 2,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. To skip the deposit, ask for the zero-deposit option: a one-off fee that is not refunded. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
