Picture three days in Dubai: an evening drive past the Burj Al Arab, a morning at Kite Beach, then the coast road north towards Sharjah and Ajman. Two medium bags fit in the boot, so a short trip with soft luggage works. The equipment list is practical rather than flashy — adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, parking sensors, power seats, rear climate control and Bluetooth.
The minimum booking is three days, which comes to AED 1,077. Stretch it to a week and you pay AED 2,150 — around AED 307 a day and AED 363 less than seven days at the daily rate — with 1,750 km. Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 1,750 km on the weekly rate, 6,000 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 5 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 1,500, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
Shortest rental: 3 days.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
