Five seats, space for two suitcases, a 1.5-litre petrol engine and an automatic gearbox: the Creta handles the everyday jobs well – school runs, shopping at City Centre Ajman, a Friday drive along the Corniche. With 2,100 km in a weekly hire you can also fit in weekends away, such as the lagoons of Umm Al Quwain or the mountain road up Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah.
How the numbers stack up: seven days at AED 255 would total AED 1,785, while the weekly price is AED 1,655, roughly AED 236 per day. Stay a month and it drops to AED 2,450 (about AED 82 a day) with 4,000 km. Go over any allowance and you pay AED 0.35 per km. Add 5% VAT to all rates.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 300 km on the daily rate, 2,100 km on the weekly rate, 4,000 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 0.35 per km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 1,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.

Is the weekly rate worth it?
Only if you need the car for all seven days: AED 1,655 against AED 1,785 at the daily rate. For six days or fewer, paying by the day is cheaper – six days come to AED 1,530.
What happens to the deposit?
Dollar Car Rental takes AED 1,000 by card at the start and releases it no later than 30 days after return. Salik charges (AED 5 per gate) can be deducted from it or settled separately.
When can I pick the car up?
At the City Center branch in Ajman, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00; it is closed on Saturday and Sunday, so plan weekend collections for Friday. Delivery within Ajman or to the airport can be arranged in advance, with possible extra charges.
