Description
A black, well-equipped sedan for a working week or a month in Dubai, now AED 100 a day instead of AED 240. Upscale Car Rental hands it over at the ibis World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road; note the minimum driver age of 28.
Rent this Hyundai Elantra 2022 in Dubai for AED 100/day, AED 700/week & AED 2,550/month. Includes 300 km/day mileage (AED 3 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 1,500.
Business travellers staying around the Dubai World Trade Centre and residents waiting for their own car will get the most from this Elantra. It is equipped above its class: adaptive cruise control for long motorway stretches, blind-spot warning, a head-up display, built-in GPS, a panoramic sunroof and memory front seats. The 1.6-litre engine and automatic gearbox keep fuel costs sensible.
The minimum hire is five days, which at the daily rate comes to AED 500. A week costs AED 700, the same AED 100 a day, with 2,100 km. The monthly rate of AED 2,550 (was AED 3,000) works out to AED 85 a day, AED 450 less than 30 single days, and includes an unusually generous 6,000 km. Extra kilometres are AED 3. Book 10 days and the company adds an 11th day free.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 300 km on the daily rate, 2,100 km on the weekly rate, 6,000 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 3 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 1,500, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. To skip the deposit, ask for the zero-deposit option: a one-off fee that is not refunded. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
Shortest rental: 5 days.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
The rental agreement you sign is what binds you and the company, not this page: read it before paying, and agree any change in writing (WhatsApp or e-mail).
Driver & licence
Minimum driver age: 28 years.
Visitors from the GCC, the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and several other countries can drive on their home licence. Other visitors need an International Driving Permit; UAE residents need a UAE licence.
Payment, tolls & VAT
Accepted: Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card.
Prices shown exclude 5% VAT.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I rent the Elantra for one or two days?
Upscale Car Rental sets a five-day minimum on this car, so the shortest hire costs AED 500. From 10 days you get one extra day free.
Should I worry about the AED 3 per extra km?
Rarely: the day rate includes 300 km, the week 2,100 km and the month 6,000 km, about 200 km a day. If you do go over, 100 km beyond the allowance costs AED 300.
What are the deposit and age rules?
The deposit is AED 1,500, refunded within 30 days, and a zero-deposit option is available on request. The main driver must be 28 or older.
