Description
V8 Rent a Car’s black J7 is a five-seat saloon that punches above its price: leather seats, a panoramic sunroof and a surround-view camera for under AED 100 a day.
Rent this JAC J7 2024 in Dubai for AED 99/day, AED 699/week & AED 1,900/month. Includes 250 km/day mileage (AED 0.5 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 1,000.
Who is it for? Someone who needs a smart, unflashy car for meetings around DIFC and Business Bay, or a small group sharing costs on a trip – the boot takes three bags. Temperature-controlled seats help in the summer heat, blind-spot warning and adaptive cruise make Sheikh Zayed Road traffic easier, and navigation is built in.
A quirk worth knowing: the weekly price of AED 699 is actually AED 6 more than seven single days (AED 693), but it bundles 2,100 km instead of 1,750 km. The month is the stand-out – AED 1,900, around AED 63 a day, with a generous 6,000 km. Overage is AED 0.5 per km, prices exclude 5% VAT, and hourly hire can be arranged directly with the company.
- Deposit AED 1,000, refunded within 30 days
- Free delivery; quick-delivery areas include Downtown, Deira and Palm Jumeirah
- Drivers 21+; card or cash
- Business Bay office open 24/7; Russian and Chinese spoken

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 2,100 km on the weekly rate, 6,000 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 0.5 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 1,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
The rental agreement you sign is what binds you and the company, not this page: read it before paying, and agree any change in writing (WhatsApp or e-mail).
Driver & licence
Minimum driver age: 21 years.
Visitors from the GCC, the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and several other countries can drive on their home licence. Other visitors need an International Driving Permit; UAE residents need a UAE licence.
Payment, tolls & VAT
Accepted: Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash.
Salik toll gates: AED 5 per crossing, added to your bill.
Prices shown exclude 5% VAT.
Frequently asked questions
Is the weekly rate worth it?
Only for the mileage: AED 699 for a week is AED 6 more than seven days at AED 99, but you get 2,100 km instead of 1,750 km. If you drive little, book day by day.
Can I rent the J7 by the hour?
Hourly prices aren’t listed, but V8 Rent a Car says hourly rentals can be arranged – contact the company directly.
What do I need to pay up front?
An AED 1,000 deposit (returned within 30 days) plus the rental. The company accepts credit card, debit card and cash; drivers must be at least 21.
