Description
The monthly price on this white 2024 Defender has dropped from AED 12,000 to AED 9,500, so a month with a proper Land Rover now costs about AED 317 a day.
Rent this Land Rover Defender 2024 in Dubai for AED 500/day & AED 9,500/month. Includes 250 km/day mileage (AED 3 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 1,000.
A Defender is for people who like their SUV square-shouldered and a little theatrical: white paint, a black cabin, five seats and space for three bags. It looks right parked outside a villa in Jumeirah, and it is just as at home on the paved climb to Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah or the mountain road to Hatta for a weekend of kayaking on the dam.
Short stays start at two days, so the minimum spend is AED 1,000 at AED 500 a day, with 250 km per day included. The monthly plan at AED 9,500 includes 5,000 km – enough for everyday city driving plus several weekend runs to Abu Dhabi or the mountains. Past the limit it is AED 3 per km. A weekly price is available on request, and all rates are quoted before 5% VAT.
Speedy Machine Car Rental works 24 hours from Al Quoz, delivers free of charge and lists fast delivery to Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, DAMAC Hills and Dubai South. The deposit is AED 1,000 (refunded within 30 days); a no-deposit option exists too – ask how it works. Send your dates and the Defender can be waiting at your door.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 5,000 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 3 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 1,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. To skip the deposit, ask for the zero-deposit option: a one-off fee that is not refunded. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
Shortest rental: 2 days.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
The rental agreement you sign is what binds you and the company, not this page: read it before paying, and agree any change in writing (WhatsApp or e-mail).
Driver & licence
Minimum driver age: 21 years.
Visitors from the GCC, the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and several other countries can drive on their home licence. Other visitors need an International Driving Permit; UAE residents need a UAE licence.
Payment, tolls & VAT
Accepted: Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card.
Salik toll gates: AED 8 per crossing, added to your bill.
Prices shown exclude 5% VAT.
