Description
Landing at DXB with a family's worth of luggage? This Velar takes five bags and is based in Al Garhoud, a short hop from the terminals, at an office that never closes.
Rent this Land Rover Range Rover Velar R Dynamic 2020 in Dubai for AED 400/day, AED 2,500/week & AED 7,000/month. Includes 250 km/day mileage (AED 2 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 2,000.
Eco Car Rental asks for a minimum of two days, so the entry ticket is AED 800, with 250 km for each day. Staying the week is smarter: AED 2,500 comes to roughly AED 357 a day and saves AED 300 against seven daily rentals. The monthly rate has been trimmed from AED 7,500 to AED 7,000 — about AED 233 a day — with 4,500 km included. Beyond the allowance each kilometre costs AED 2; Salik gates are AED 6 each, and 5% VAT is added to the bill.
Inside there is leather, a panoramic sunroof, memory front seats, rear climate control and built-in GPS, while blind-spot warning, parking sensors and automatic emergency braking look after city driving. The powered tailgate helps when you are loading those bags at arrivals. It is a comfortable choice for a beach week in Jumeirah or a sunset drive out to the Al Qudra lakes.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 1,750 km on the weekly rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 2 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 2,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
Shortest rental: 2 days.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
The rental agreement you sign is what binds you and the company, not this page: read it before paying, and agree any change in writing (WhatsApp or e-mail).
Driver & licence
Minimum driver age: 25 years.
Visitors from the GCC, the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and several other countries can drive on their home licence. Other visitors need an International Driving Permit; UAE residents need a UAE licence.
Payment, tolls & VAT
Accepted: Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, Cheque.
Salik toll gates: AED 6 per crossing, added to your bill.
Prices shown exclude 5% VAT.
