The CLE is a four-seat, two-door convertible with room for two medium bags – ideal for a couple on a long weekend or for colleagues heading from DIFC to a beach club in Jumeirah. Temperature-controlled leather seats, a premium audio system, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning, built-in GPS and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto cover both leisure and the daily commute.
Numbers worth knowing: the day rate has dropped from AED 700 to AED 499 and includes 250 km. The week costs AED 2,800 – AED 400 a day, AED 693 below seven single days – and comes with 1,850 km, a hundred more than seven daily allowances would give. A month is AED 9,999, around AED 333 a day with 4,500 km. Extra kilometres are AED 5, and 5% VAT is added to every rate.
The car is collected free of charge from Explore’s office in Al Saqr Business Tower; delivery elsewhere in Dubai can be arranged at extra cost. Payment is by card or cash, the deposit is AED 2,000 and is released within 30 days, and drivers must be 21 or older.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 1,850 km on the weekly rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 5 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 2,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
