Planning to see more of the Emirates than Dubai? The Pajero is made for it. Load up for a weekend at the Hatta dams, the climb up Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah or the beaches of Fujairah: with extra kilometres at only AED 0.5, even going 200 km over the limit adds just AED 100. Inside are seven seats, leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, rear climate control, parking sensors, blind-spot warning and Apple CarPlay; luggage space is listed as two bags.
The minimum rental is two days (AED 500). A week costs AED 1,500 with 1,750 km – about AED 214 a day – and a month AED 3,600 with 5,000 km, which is AED 120 a day and AED 650 below the previous monthly price. On top of that, Shukran adds three free days to monthly rentals.
The office at Times Square Center in Al Quoz is open 24/7, and pick-up there is free; delivery elsewhere in Dubai, including the airport, is available on request. The deposit is AED 1,000. Salik tolls are billed at AED 7 per gate, and 5% VAT is added.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 1,750 km on the weekly rate, 5,000 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 0.5 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 1,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
Shortest rental: 2 days.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
