Description
Need to move seven people and their luggage? Thrifty Car Rental's red 2023 Teramont in Sharjah seats seven, takes four bags and is listed with free delivery.
Rent this Volkswagen Teramont 2023 in Sharjah for AED 299/day, AED 2,099/week & AED 4,899/month. Includes 450 km/day mileage (AED 1 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 2,500.
This is the car for big families and group trips: relatives visiting from abroad, an airport pick-up with a full set of suitcases, or a day out from Sharjah to Khor Fakkan and the Mleiha desert. The 3.6-litre petrol engine has plenty in hand with a full load, and the brown-trimmed cabin keeps everyone comfortable with rear climate control, a panoramic sunroof, power seats and LCD screens. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, parking sensors and automatic emergency braking complete the kit.
A day costs AED 299 with 450 km; a month costs AED 4,899, around AED 163 a day, with 4,500 km. The weekly rate of AED 2,099 is only AED 6 more than seven single days (AED 2,093) yet includes 2,500 km instead of 3,150 km, so single days are the better buy for a one-week trip. Extra kilometres cost AED 1. The Sharjah branch at City Centre is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
- Free delivery; fast-delivery areas include Al Nahda and Sharjah Airport
- AED 2,500 deposit, refunded within 30 days
- Basic comprehensive insurance included; 5% VAT extra

- 7 seats, 4 bags

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 450 km on the daily rate, 2,500 km on the weekly rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 1 per km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 2,500, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
The rental agreement you sign is what binds you and the company, not this page: read it before paying, and agree any change in writing (WhatsApp or e-mail).
Driver & licence
Minimum driver age: 21 years.
Visitors from the GCC, the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and several other countries can drive on their home licence. Other visitors need an International Driving Permit; UAE residents need a UAE licence.
Payment, tolls & VAT
Accepted: Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash.
Salik toll gates: AED 5 per crossing, added to your bill.
Prices shown exclude 5% VAT.
