Description
Thrifty Car Rental's beige 2023 XC60 pairs a black interior with power seats and Apple CarPlay. It makes most sense by the month, when the price drops sharply and delivery becomes free.
Rent this Volvo XC60 2023 in Fujairah for AED 375/day & AED 4,999/month. Includes 450 km/day mileage (AED 1 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 3,000.
The XC60 appeals to people who value a quiet, well-mannered drive over flash: professionals on a posting in Fujairah, families relocating to the east coast, or anyone who commutes across the mountains to Dubai several times a week. Five seats, space for two medium bags, parking sensors and automatic emergency braking cover the everyday.
By the day it costs AED 375 with 450 km included. The monthly rate of AED 4,999 is the real draw: about AED 167 a day, or AED 6,251 less than paying for thirty single days. For contracts of 30 days or more Thrifty also delivers the car free. One thing to settle before signing: the rate card lists 4,500 km per month, whereas the company's own note caps monthly rentals at 2,500 km. Get the agreed figure in writing — every additional kilometre costs AED 1.
- AED 3,000 deposit, taken by credit or debit card and returned within 30 days
- Basic comprehensive insurance included; fuller cover may be available at extra cost
- Branch hours Mon–Fri 9:00–18:00
- Weekly price on request
Highlights
- Monthly AED 4,999 (~AED 167/day)
- Free delivery on 30+ day rentals
- Power seats, Apple CarPlay
- Parking sensors, emergency braking
- AED 3,000 deposit
Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 450 km on the daily rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 1 per km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 3,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
The rental agreement you sign is what binds you and the company, not this page: read it before paying, and agree any change in writing (WhatsApp or e-mail).
Driver & licence
Minimum driver age: 21 years.
Visitors from the GCC, the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and several other countries can drive on their home licence. Other visitors need an International Driving Permit; UAE residents need a UAE licence.
Payment, tolls & VAT
Accepted: Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash.
Salik toll gates: AED 5 per crossing, added to your bill.
Prices shown exclude 5% VAT.
Frequently asked questions
Which mileage applies on a monthly XC60 rental?
The price list shows 4,500 km, but the company's note limits monthly rentals to 2,500 km. Confirm the number and have it written into the contract; extra kilometres are AED 1 each.
When is delivery free?
For rentals of 30 days or more. Shorter hires can be collected free of charge from the Downtown Fujairah branch, or delivered on request for a fee.
How is the deposit handled?
AED 3,000 is blocked at the start — Thrifty's note says by credit or debit card — and refunded within 30 days after the car is returned.
