Good matches are a couple on a city break, a resident waiting for their own car, or anyone shuttling between Al Seef, City Walk and Jumeirah.
All three rates have been cut: AED 200 a day (was 300), AED 1,300 a week (was 2,000) – about AED 186 a day – and AED 3,000 a month (was 3,800), which is AED 100 a day. Here is the honest catch: extra kilometres cost AED 10 each, so stay within 250 km a day, 1,750 km a week or 4,500 km a month. From 15 days, delivery is free.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 1,750 km on the weekly rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 10 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 1,500, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
