Set off from Ajman in the morning and you could loop the east coast – Masafi, the Fujairah beaches, Khor Fakkan – and be back by night without going over the daily allowance. The 3.8-litre V6 and automatic gearbox keep things relaxed on the highway, and the GCC-spec 2022 SUV has a gray interior with room for seven.
The maths favours longer stays. A week costs AED 3,800 (about AED 543 a day, AED 295 below seven daily rates) with 2,500 km. A month is AED 6,000 – exactly AED 200 a day. The published monthly allowance is 4,500 km, though Dollar Car Rental's note mentions 4,000 km, so confirm it. Extra kilometres are only AED 0.35 each.
You'll leave an AED 2,500 deposit (refunded within 30 days) and need to be at least 22. Basic comprehensive insurance is included, VAT of 5% is added, and the City Center branch opens Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 400 km on the daily rate, 2,500 km on the weekly rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 0.35 per km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 2,500, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.

What happens if we drive more than 400 km in a day?
You pay AED 0.35 for every kilometre past the 400 km mark, so a 100 km detour beyond it adds AED 35 to the bill.
Is a deposit required?
Yes: AED 2,500 by credit or debit card, returned within 30 days after drop-off. Unpaid Salik tolls (AED 5 per gate) can be deducted from it.
Where do we collect the Palisade?
Free pick-up is at the City Center branch in Ajman, Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00. Delivery within Ajman or to the airport can be arranged in advance; extra charges may apply.
