Description
Thrifty Car Rental offers this white 2024 Renault Arkana from its branch at Sharjah City Centre, with basic comprehensive insurance included. It suits anyone who wants SUV seating height with a sleeker, sloping roofline.
Rent this Renault Arkana 2024 in Sharjah for AED 160/day & AED 2,400/month. Includes 250 km/day mileage (AED 1 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 2,000.
The Arkana is a sensible pick for a couple or a small family based in Sharjah: five seats, room for two bags, reverse parking sensors for tight spots around Al Majaz and Al Qasba, and Android Auto plus USB ports for navigation on the commute to Dubai. The black fabric interior stays practical in everyday use.
Short stays cost AED 160 per day with 250 km included; each extra kilometre is AED 1. The real value is the monthly rate of AED 2,400 – about AED 80 a day, half of what 30 single days would cost (AED 4,800). The listing shows 4,500 km per month, while the company's own note allows 2,500 km on monthly rentals, so get the figure confirmed in writing. A weekly price is available on request.

Rental terms
Mileage policy
Most rentals include a daily mileage limit (e.g., 250 km/day). Exceeding this incurs additional charges at AED 0.5 per extra km. Some providers offer unlimited mileage or extra mileage package options. Tip: Planning a long trip? Request a discounted extra mileage package from the rental company in advance to avoid per-km charges.
Fuel policy
Return the car with the same fuel level as received to avoid refueling charges. Tip: Take a picture of the fuel gauge at pickup and drop-off as proof, and keep the fuel receipt to avoid disputes.
Deposit policy
A refundable deposit is held via credit card pre-authorization and refunded within 30 days. Some companies offer a zero-deposit option for a non-refundable fee. Tip: Using a debit card, cash or bank transfer? Refunds take longer, require manual processing, and may incur transfer and currency conversion fees. Check with your provider in advance.
Rental policy
Car rentals operate on a 24-hour cycle—returning late, even by an hour, may result in a full-day charge. Early contract termination may affect your rental rate. Tip: If the rental company is picking up the car, ensure the vehicle is ready and accessible at the agreed time to avoid delays or extra charges. Important: Users must carefully review the Car Rental Agreement before confirming their booking. The policies mentioned on this page are for informational purposes and reflect standard car rental practices in Dubai. However, the Car Rental Agreement serves as the final binding contract between the user and the provider. Be sure to read it thoroughly and keep a copy for your records. Keep Records – Always document all communications with the car rental provider in text format, such as WhatsApp chats or emails. This helps avoid misunderstandings and provides proof in case of disputes.

Frequently asked questions
How much is the deposit for the Renault Arkana?
AED 2,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged. The hold is released within 30 days of returning the car.
Is mileage limited on the monthly rate?
Yes. The listing states 4,500 km per month, but Thrifty's note for this car mentions 2,500 km on monthly rentals, with AED 1 for each extra km. Ask the company to confirm which allowance goes into your contract.
Can I collect the car at Sharjah Airport?
Sharjah Airport and Al Nahda are on the company's fast-delivery list; airport handovers are booked in advance. Delivery is free on rentals of 30 days or more, while shorter hires may carry delivery and airport parking charges. Collecting from the City Centre branch is always free.
