Description
A white 2023 Yaris for AED 1,499 a month. Thrifty Car Rental at Dubai Mall publishes a monthly price for this 1.5-litre compact, with daily and weekly rates on request.
Rent this Toyota Yaris 2023 in Dubai for AED 1,499/month. Security deposit: AED 1,500.
This is a car for living in Dubai rather than visiting it: a new job in Business Bay, the weeks while your residence visa is processed, a term at Academic City, or a second car for the family. The Yaris is small enough for tight residential parking, seats five and takes one large bag, and it keeps things simple with a 1.5-litre petrol engine, automatic emergency braking, Bluetooth, USB and power windows.
At AED 1,499 a month, the cost averages about AED 50 a day, and delivery is free on rentals of 30 days or more. The listing shows 4,500 km per month, while Thrifty's own note says monthly contracts are limited to 2,500 km; it's worth confirming, since each extra kilometre costs AED 0.35. The company also mentions a 3-month commitment offer if you plan to stay longer.
Paperwork is light: drivers must be 21 or older, the AED 1,500 deposit is refunded within 30 days, and payment is by credit or debit card. Basic comprehensive insurance is included, with 5% VAT added on top.
Highlights

- 3-month commitment offer (per company)
- 1.5 L petrol, 5 seats, automatic
- Extra km AED 0.35

Rental terms
Mileage policy
Most rentals include a daily mileage limit (e.g., 250 km/day). Exceeding this incurs additional charges at AED 0.5 per extra km. Some providers offer unlimited mileage or extra mileage package options. Tip: Planning a long trip? Request a discounted extra mileage package from the rental company in advance to avoid per-km charges.
Fuel policy
Return the car with the same fuel level as received to avoid refueling charges. Tip: Take a picture of the fuel gauge at pickup and drop-off as proof, and keep the fuel receipt to avoid disputes.
Deposit policy
A refundable deposit is held via credit card pre-authorization and refunded within 30 days. Some companies offer a zero-deposit option for a non-refundable fee. Tip: Using a debit card, cash or bank transfer? Refunds take longer, require manual processing, and may incur transfer and currency conversion fees. Check with your provider in advance.
Rental policy
Car rentals operate on a 24-hour cycle—returning late, even by an hour, may result in a full-day charge. Early contract termination may affect your rental rate. Tip: If the rental company is picking up the car, ensure the vehicle is ready and accessible at the agreed time to avoid delays or extra charges. Important: Users must carefully review the Car Rental Agreement before confirming their booking. The policies mentioned on this page are for informational purposes and reflect standard car rental practices in Dubai. However, the Car Rental Agreement serves as the final binding contract between the user and the provider. Be sure to read it thoroughly and keep a copy for your records. Keep Records – Always document all communications with the car rental provider in text format, such as WhatsApp chats or emails. This helps avoid misunderstandings and provides proof in case of disputes.

Frequently asked questions
Can I rent the Yaris for just a few days?
Short hires are possible (minimum one day), but Thrifty gives daily and weekly prices on request only, so message them for a quote. The published price is AED 1,499 for a month.
How much mileage comes with a month?
Thrifty's note limits monthly contracts to 2,500 km (the listing shows 4,500 km, so confirm). Extra kilometres cost AED 0.35 each, which means every 100 km over adds AED 35.
Is there a better deal for a longer stay?
The company mentions a 3-month commitment offer, so ask about it when booking. Delivery is free on any rental of 30 days or more, including to Airport Terminals 1–3, JVC, Mirdif and Dubai Marina.
