The A6 is at its best on the motorway. With 450 km included every day, a return trip to a meeting in Abu Dhabi, or an afternoon at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, fits within a single day's allowance. Three bags go in the boot, rear passengers get their own climate control, and the cabin has a panoramic sunroof, a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, parking sensors and automatic emergency braking.
There is no weekly rate, so for 12 days or fewer you simply pay AED 359 per day. From the 13th day the monthly price of AED 4,599 (about AED 153 a day) becomes cheaper. One detail to settle in writing: the rate card shows 4,500 km per month, while Thrifty's own note limits monthly rentals to 2,500 km. Extra kilometres cost AED 1.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 450 km on the daily rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 1 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 2,500, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.

Frequently asked questions
How many kilometres come with a monthly rental?
The rate card shows 4,500 km, but Thrifty notes that monthly rentals are limited to 2,500 km, about 83 km a day. Ask for the limit to be written into your contract; each extra kilometre is AED 1.
Where do I collect the A6?
At Thrifty's branch in The Dubai Mall, Lower Ground Floor near the Waitrose supermarket (Cinema P1 (E) parking). Delivery is free across Dubai, including DXB Terminals 1–3, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and JVC; airport parking charges may apply.
What deposit and payment methods are accepted?
Thrifty takes an AED 2,500 deposit and releases it within 30 days after return. Payment is by credit or debit card only, no cash.
