Description

Drift Rent a Car has cut this white Elantra from AED 150 to AED 90 a day, and its office in Barsha Heights answers around the clock. A sensible pick for commutes and airport runs — and drivers can rent it from age 18.

Rent this Hyundai Elantra 2024 in Dubai for AED 90/day, AED 540/week & AED 2,000/month. Includes 250 km/day mileage (AED 0.5 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 1,000.

The Elantra is the sort of car you stop thinking about once you are behind the wheel: a 1.7-litre automatic, five seats, room for two medium bags, and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto for navigation. Adaptive cruise control takes the edge off long stretches of Sheikh Zayed Road, while parking sensors help in tight mall car parks such as Mall of the Emirates, a few minutes from the branch.

Pricing rewards a longer stay. A single day is AED 90 with 250 km; the weekly rate of AED 540 works out to about AED 77 a day with 1,400 km, and AED 2,000 covers a full month — roughly AED 67 a day with 4,500 km. If a day trip to Abu Dhabi and back pushes you past the daily allowance, extra kilometres cost only AED 0.5 each.

  • Deposit AED 1,000, or ask about the no-deposit option
  • Basic comprehensive insurance included; 5% VAT on top
  • Salik toll gates billed at AED 5 each
  • Pay by cash, credit or debit card

Rental terms

Kilometres

Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 1,400 km on the weekly rate, 4,500 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 0.5 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.

Fuel

Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.

Security deposit

AED 1,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. To skip the deposit, ask for the zero-deposit option: a one-off fee that is not refunded. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.

Rental rules

Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.

A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.

The rental agreement you sign is what binds you and the company, not this page: read it before paying, and agree any change in writing (WhatsApp or e-mail).

Driver & licence

Minimum driver age: 18 years.

Visitors from the GCC, the US, the UK, Canada, Europe and several other countries can drive on their home licence. Other visitors need an International Driving Permit; UAE residents need a UAE licence.

Payment, tolls & VAT

Accepted: Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card.

Salik toll gates: AED 5 per crossing, added to your bill.

Prices shown exclude 5% VAT.
