The monthly price was AED 2,000 and now stands at AED 1,100 with 5,000 km included – AED 1,000 less than paying the AED 70 daily rate for 30 days. Short stays start at two days (AED 140). It is a small four-seat automatic with space for one bag, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and parking sensors – right for a solo professional, a couple on a long stay or anyone who mostly drives between Al Barsha, Mall of the Emirates, Barsha Heights and Downtown.
Drift's office in Al Shafar Tower 1, Barsha Heights, is open 24/7 and collection is free; delivery can be arranged on request to areas such as Al Barsha, Business Bay, Downtown, The Greens and Sheikh Zayed Road. The deposit is AED 1,000 – or ask about the no-deposit option – and is refunded within 30 days. Drivers from 18, cash or card, basic comprehensive insurance included, 5% VAT extra.

Rental terms
Kilometres
Allowance: 250 km on the daily rate, 5,000 km on the monthly rate. Above the allowance you pay AED 0.5 per km. For scale: Dubai to Abu Dhabi and back is roughly 280 km.
Fuel
Like for like: bring the car back with the fuel level you received it with. If it comes back lower, the company refuels it and bills you, usually above pump price.
Security deposit
AED 1,000, blocked on your credit card rather than charged and released within 30 days of the return. To skip the deposit, ask for the zero-deposit option: a one-off fee that is not refunded. A deposit paid by debit card, cash or transfer comes back by manual refund, which takes longer.
Rental rules
Basic insurance is part of the price; full cover with a lower excess is usually an extra.
Shortest rental: 2 days.
A rental day is 24 hours from pick-up, so a return that is an hour late can cost a full extra day. Handing the car back early may change the rate you pay.
