Description
A new 2026 K3 from Thrifty Car Rental's Dubai Mall branch – the budget pick, with a very generous 450 km a day.
Rent this Kia K3 2026 in Dubai for AED 149/day, AED 979/week & AED 2,199/month. Includes 450 km/day mileage (AED 0.35 per additional km). Security deposit: AED 1,500.
Need a simple car for errands, commuting or your first week in Dubai? The K3 is a five-seat automatic sedan with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB ports and room for two bags. Its real strength is distance: each day includes 450 km and extra kilometres cost just AED 0.35, so a road trip to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or the east-coast beaches of Fujairah is realistic on a tight budget.
A day costs AED 149. Take it for a week at AED 979 – about AED 140 a day, AED 64 less than seven single days – with 2,000 km. The month rate of AED 2,199 is roughly AED 73 a day; the listing shows 4,500 km for a month, while the company's own note mentions a 2,500 km cap on monthly contracts, so confirm the allowance before signing.
Thrifty takes an AED 1,500 deposit, refunded within 30 days, and accepts credit or debit cards only. You need to be at least 21 to drive it. Pick up for free from the branch on the Lower Ground Floor near Waitrose (Cinema P1 E parking), open 24 hours, or order delivery in Dubai – extra charges may apply.

Rental terms
Mileage policy
Most rentals include a daily mileage limit (e.g., 250 km/day). Exceeding this incurs additional charges at AED 0.5 per extra km. Some providers offer unlimited mileage or extra mileage package options. Tip: Planning a long trip? Request a discounted extra mileage package from the rental company in advance to avoid per-km charges.
Fuel policy
Return the car with the same fuel level as received to avoid refueling charges. Tip: Take a picture of the fuel gauge at pickup and drop-off as proof, and keep the fuel receipt to avoid disputes.
Deposit policy
A refundable deposit is held via credit card pre-authorization and refunded within 30 days. Some companies offer a zero-deposit option for a non-refundable fee. Tip: Using a debit card, cash or bank transfer? Refunds take longer, require manual processing, and may incur transfer and currency conversion fees. Check with your provider in advance.
Rental policy
Car rentals operate on a 24-hour cycle—returning late, even by an hour, may result in a full-day charge. Early contract termination may affect your rental rate. Tip: If the rental company is picking up the car, ensure the vehicle is ready and accessible at the agreed time to avoid delays or extra charges. Important: Users must carefully review the Car Rental Agreement before confirming their booking. The policies mentioned on this page are for informational purposes and reflect standard car rental practices in Dubai. However, the Car Rental Agreement serves as the final binding contract between the user and the provider. Be sure to read it thoroughly and keep a copy for your records. Keep Records – Always document all communications with the car rental provider in text format, such as WhatsApp chats or emails. This helps avoid misunderstandings and provides proof in case of disputes.
